Visit of experts from the university – strategic partner

West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov Medical University participates in the implementation of the Contract financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development „Consulting services on modernization of education system in medicine.

Strategic partnership for modernization of academic programs including the disciplines of “Oncology: oncological laboratory diagnostics” and ”Clinical pharmacology” – Contract No. SHIP-2.3/CS-02 concluded by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the Poznan University of Medical Sciences.

SThe fourth visit of experts of the university – strategic partner of Poznan University of Medical Sciences to WKMOMU took place within the framework of this contract. The expert group consisting of the main project manager prof. Jarosław Walkowiak and prof. Jan Nowak arrived on task 1C.3) Support to organization of post-doctoral studies to be hosted by the partnering University. The main purpose of the visit was elaboration of proposals of the post-doctoral scientific activity of the university scientists. The experts conducted lectures and consultations for PhD of WKMOMU.

Also individual meetings were held with each candidate for postdoctoral studies on examination of the general area of scientific interests and consideration of the main issues in order to implement the task. Additionally the main project manager conducted an interview with the staff of WKMOMU for the purpose of selection for the training in the laboratory on the basis of the university strategic partner.
