Skier training

The ski training was conducted by the teachers of the physical education department of the West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov Medical University on the ski track of the regional Youth Sports School for winter sports in the area of ​​the “Kirpichny” residential area.

The event was held in accordance with the plan of the methodological work of the department.

The participants of the training received theoretical information on the selection and fitting of equipment, the rules of the competition, refereeing, the technique for performing the exercises, and measuring and skiing equipment. In the practical part of the lesson, the teachers were explained the technique and methodology of teaching the main classical moves, analyzing in detail the methods of ascending, descending, turning and braking, the methods and techniques used.

The training ended with a distance of 3 km in the circle.
