Feats of our ancestors

February, 19, the event “The Role of Doctors of the Kazakh SSR in the Great Patriotic War”, organized by the Museum of the West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov Medical University and the Department of Chemistry.

The main goal of the event on the program “Rukhani zhangyru” is to provide a broad overview of the contribution of medical workers, scientists and outstanding leaders of the Second World War to today’s generation.

Videos were presented, articles read about World War II veterans who worked for many years at our university, and a thematic exposition of items of the Military Department was organized. 

Mamanova Khalida Yesenkulovna deserves special mention, a brave woman in the penal battalion of the Second World War. H.Mamanov’s nephew were talked a difficult story of her life to the participants.
