ЖасStar’s step won

In the city of Nur-Sultan, the international multi-genre competition “Step to the Star” organized by Mega Festival KZ. 66 participants of the dance nomination took part in this competition. Among many professional dance groups, the folk dance ensemble of our university “Zhas Star” won the Grand Prix in the category of folk dances with the dance “Nazly Gulder” and the first place with the dance “Erke sylkym”.

Members of jury: Honored worker of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, art director of the State Dance Theater “Naz” Agimbayeva Kadisha Ermekbayevna, Master of Arts, Karakenova Dilara Talgatovna, doctoral student of the Kazakh National University of Arts, Nur-Sultan, art director of the children’s choir “Eligay”, teacher of the conductor’s department of Kaz NUA, Zhakanova Zhanar Serikovna, the main organizer of the Mega Festival KZ announced the results of the competition and special nominations “The best choreographic performance”, “The best plot dance”, “The best modern choreography”, “The best folk dance”, “The best tutor” were awarded.

One of these nominations “Best Tutor” was awarded to Seitzhanova Gaukhar Maralovna, the leader of the folk dance ensemble “Zhas Star”, of the West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov Medical University.
