Competition “Best Neurologist”

May 19, 2022 Department of Neurology West Kazakhstan M. Ospanov Medical University held the “Best Neurologist” competition among residents, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of our University. The competition consisted of two stages: solving a situational problem and a quiz. The task was devoted to the problem of back pain, residents had to make a diagnosis, interpret analyzes and data from additional research methods, conduct differential diagnostics, and prescribe treatment. To solve the problem, the Google forms platform was used. The quiz was held in a fun way using the Kahoot app.

15 questions were prepared on current topics of clinical neurology. Residents actively answered questions, showed a good level of knowledge and practical training. Prize-winning places were distributed as follows: the first place was taken by the resident of the 2nd year of study Berzhanova Yerkenaz; the second place was shared by Turganbaeva Kazyna, Suleimenova Gulsaya, Bekmurzaeva Akmaral, Saktapbergen Fariza – residents of the 2nd year of study; the third place was taken by the 2nd year resident Zhuban Akbota. The incentive prize for the best solution of the situational problem was received by the resident of the 1st year of study Muldasheva Botagoz. At the end of the competition, teachers, clinical mentors and residents expressed their impressions and good wishes.
