Vacant position: head of the intensive care department for 3 cardiac surgery 6 cardiac beds of the Medical Center of NJSC “West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov Medical University”

 

Basic requirements for the participant of the competition:

For clinical departments: higher medical education, the highest or first qualification category in the specialty, work experience of at least 5 years, specialist certificate.

For non-clinical departments: higher professional education (medical, humanitarian), the highest or first qualification category in the specialty or experience in the specialty for at least 5 years, specialist certificate.

 

Functional  responsibilities:

 

Head of the intensive care department for 3 cardiac surgery 6 cardiac beds of the Medical Center

  • Manages the department of the Center in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
  • Organizes the work of the department to ensure the treatment and diagnostic process in full, in a timely manner, at a modern level.
  • Controls accounting and reporting in the department. Submit a report on the work of the department within the prescribed period in the prescribed form. Analyze the performance indicators of the department; based on the results of the analysis, take measures aimed at rational use of the bed fund, improving the quality and timing of examination and treatment of patients.
  • Provide the clinic management with the necessary information about patients, the course of their disease, medical and diagnostic measures, the prognosis of the disease on demand.
  • Provide planned and emergency hospitalization of patients to the department, taking into account the profile, the course of the disease, the plan of the educational process. Participate in the work of the commission on hospitalization.
  • To ensure and monitor the correctness and timeliness of the examination and treatment of each patient department by:
  • timely examination of each patient admitted to the department no later than one day;
  • conducting rounds of the department at least once a week;
  • participation in the rounds of the department by a professor, Associate professor, senior researcher;
  • systematic examination of seriously ill patients;
  • monitoring of patients who are in the department for a long time.
  • Solve the issues of discharge and transfer of patients independently or in agreement with a professor, Associate professor, monitor the correctness and timeliness of discharge documents, sign them.
  • Advise the doctors of the department on diagnosis and treatment, to participate in the implementation of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures; to involve senior specialists or doctors of other specialties for consultation.
  • Systematically monitor:
  • the correctness of maintaining medical records in the department;
  • the correctness of the discharge, receipt, storage, use of medicines, including expensive, potent, drugs, alcohol, dressings; sign in the accounting logs;
  • issues of nutrition of patients: the correctness of the appointment of a diet, the quality and timeliness of delivery of ready food and dry rations to the department, the correctness of transportation, the organization of feeding of patients;
  • implementation of sanitary and anti-epidemic regime;
  • timely examination of certain groups of employees for the presence of an occupational disease or infection; take measures to eliminate the causes that “caused the occurrence” of intra-hospital infection;
  • compliance by employees, patients, and their relatives with the internal regulations of the clinic;
  • participation of the staff of the department in the treatment process;
  • the work of doctors, nurses, nurses and other employees of the department in the performance of their official duties;
  • receipt, accounting, movement, correctness of registration of sick leave.
  • Directly perform medical work to the appropriate extent: managing patients, performing clinic duties.
  • Come to the department after hours at the call of the administration, the doctor of the department or the doctor on duty of the clinic, if necessary, the organization of the medical and diagnostic process (consultation, consultation, meeting).
  • Participate personally and ensure the participation of the department’s doctors in the work of the KILI clinic, clinical and anatomical and other conferences of the Medical Center.
  • To ensure the readiness of the department to work in emergency situations, to manage it. Promptly inform the management of the clinic about all incidents and measures taken.
  • Consider complaints from patients, their relatives, department staff, take measures to eliminate the reasons that caused complaints; systematically check and sign the complaint book.
  • To work with personnel:
  • together with the administration of the clinic to participate in the selection of personnel;
  • to make their rational placement and relocation; provide conditions for employees to perform their official duties, in accordance with job descriptions, labor protection, safety, fire safety requirements;
  • monitor the correctness of drawing up and maintaining schedules;
  • to inform employees in a timely manner, as far as they are concerned, of orders and orders of higher officials, to monitor their implementation.

  • copies of certificates of retraining and advanced training (if any) and originals for verification;
  • copies of the specialist certificate/admission to clinical activity and the certificate of the medical category according to the profile of the structural unit;
  • list of scientific works and inventions (if any). For university employees, the list of scientific papers is certified by the scientific secretary;
  • medical certificate of health status (medical professional advisory conclusion) in the form of No. 086 / u, according to the forms of primary medical documentation of health organizations, approved by order of the acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 23, 2010 No. 907, issued no more than six months before the day of submission of documents (or a notarized copy);
  • certificate from the neuropsychiatric organization in the form according to the standard of the public service “Issuing a certificate from a neuropsychiatric organization”, approved by order of the Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 27, 2015 No. 272, issued no more than one year before the day the documents were submitted (or a notarized copy);
  • certificate from the narcological organization in the form according to the standard of the public service “Issuing a certificate from a narcological organization”, approved by order of the Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 27, 2015 No. 272, issued no more than one year before the day the documents were submitted (or a notarized copy);
  • certificate on presence or absence of information on the records issued by the Committee for Legal Statistics and Special Records of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the person committing a criminal offense.
  • participant of the competition has the right to provide additional information regarding his education, work experience, professional level, knowledge of languages (list of scientific publications, recommendations from the administration of the previous place of work, certificates, diplomas, etc.).
