I student microsurgical forum of Kazakhstan

From November 3 to 4, 2022, within the framework of the 65th anniversary of Marat Ospanov, the I student microsurgical forum of Kazakhstan was held. The event was organized by the Department of normal and topographic Anatomy and operative surgery of WKMU named after Marat Ospanov.

The student club “young scientists of microsurgery” was opened last year. This year, the club is organized for the first time in the country in honor of the 1st anniversary of the University and the 65th anniversary of the university. On the 1st day of the Forum, a plenary session was organized, followed by sectional Scientific Reports and a master class. Scientific Reports were made by young scientists from Astana, Karaganda medical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Marat Ospanov WKMU, as well as scientists from the I Moscow Medical University and the founder of Microlab from the Russian Federation, young scientists from the state of Belarus – Vitebsk Medical University, The Republic of Kyrgyzstan. The master class was conducted by the head of the club Kadyrov Zhandos together with the participants. On the second day of the forum, the theoretical and practical part of the microsurgery Olympiad was held. At the end of the Forum, a ceremony of awarding the winners was held.

The main prize of the forum-gold, silver and bronze aproximator badge was won by three teams; “Golden aproximator” – Astana Medical University, “Silver aproximator” – Marat Ospanov WKMU and “bronze aproximator” – by young scientists of Karaganda Medical University.

In the future, the club “Young Scientists of microsurgeons” of WKMU named after Marat Ospanov will work to increase its capabilities and improve the competencies of students – young scientists in this direction.
