On November 18, 2022, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov Medical University and the celebration of World Science Day for Peace and Development, when organizing the departments of pathological physiology and histology on the theme “Science steps through innovation and implementationinto practice.”

Chairman of the Board – Rector of the West Kazakhstan Medical University Kaliev Asset Askerovich opened the conference with a congratulatory speech to the participants. During his speech, he noted that students can become competitive specialists, helping to improve the well-being and quality of life of students.

Member of the Board Saparbaev Samat Sagatovich wished the conference participants success in raising their level of knowledge and familiarizing themselves with new professional standards.

Head of the Department of Pathological Physiology, c.m.s, Zhexenova A.N. during the conference discussed topical aspects of training personnel with the necessary knowledge and skills in the labor market, the development of innovative and interdisciplinary educational programs with a trend towards the development of science. The conference was held offline and online. The conference was attended by 2 students of “SMU” offline and from Russia (SSMU named after

V.I. Razumovsky, OSMU, NSMU), TMA, KSMA. Students of KSMU named after I.K. Akhunbaeva (Bishkek), KNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov took part online. Student scientific circles “Young pathophysiologist” and “Histologist” held an exhibition-competition in 7 nominations. Head of the Department of Pathophysiology, , c.m.s Zhexenova A.N., head of the Department of Histology, , c.m., Zh.E. Komekbai held master classes for students.

As a result of the conference, students who read the report for each section were awarded diplomas of I, II, III degrees and a “diploma for the best presentation”, and students who took part in the exhibition-competition consisting of nominations were awarded with 7 “best nominations”.

The conference was sponsored by the Aktobe regional branch of the NGO “Industrial Professional Union of Health Care Workers” SENIM” and the company “Nestle”.
