Subject Olympiad with the participation of students

On February 8, 2023, a subject Olympiad with the participation of students of the 3rd-4th year of the Faculty of Public Health in the discipline “Public Health and Healthcare” was held within the walls of the M. Ospanov WKMU. The organizers of this event are the Department of Public Health and Healthcare.

The peculiarity of this Olympiad is its practical and scientific orientation, the disclosure of creative abilities, the selection and support of the most talented and gifted students, the promotion of the intellectual potential of students, the involvement of students in solving practical and scientific problems of public health and the development of interest in scientific activities, as well as to show the work in a team of participants with different levels of knowledge, where they would show their leadership qualities, like-mindedness, cohesion and quick management decision-making.

The Olympiad was held in 4 stages:

  1. Presentation of commands
  2. Question and answer
  3. 3.Hidden cells
  4. Situational tasks

These stages cover current topics and priority issues of healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The tasks were aimed at knowledge of discipline, speed, ingenuity, logical solution of situational tasks. Three teams “Leaders”, “Scrabble”, “Avengers” competed in the fight for the first place.
