Seminar on measles prevention at the regional level

Since February 21 of this year, in order to timely detect and prevent the mass spread of measles in the region, the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Aktobe region, together with specialists of the health departments of the Aktobe region, with the participation of infectious diseases specialists of the M.Ospanov ZKMU, conducted a series of seminars for deputy chief physicians, primary health care physicians, hospital epidemiologists of city and district medical organizations.

The speakers noted that according to the World Health Organization, there is currently a threat of the spread of measles. In 2022, a total of 155.5 thousand cases of measles were registered in the world.

The complication of the epidemiological situation at the beginning of 2023 for measles is also noted in our country. The staff of the department covered in detail the issues of the clinic, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of measles.
