The scientific project of WKMU is included in the WHO agenda

On April 7-8, 2023, in the city of Almaty, the NGO “Kazakhstan Association for Sexual and Reproductive Health (KMPA)” held the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Reproductive Health of Adolescents and Youth”.

This conference was held under the leadership of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as with the participation of international organizations such as IPPF, UNFPA, WHO, ESC.

While WHO has been emphasizing the need to pay more attention to the reproductive health of adolescents since 2023, PhD., Associate Professor of the Department of Normal Physiology Ainur Amanzholkyzy and PhD 3-year doctoral student Donayeva Ainur Ergalievna have been raising this issue since 2018.

Our young scientists of WKMU presented at this international conference a report on the results of an intra-university funded project on the topic “Vitamin D deficiency in primary dysmenorrhea”.
