DESERVED AWARD

On the eve of the national holiday – the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, by the Decree of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, a large group of citizens of our country were awarded state awards for their significant contribution to the socio-economic, cultural and spiritual development of the country, strengthening friendship and cooperation between peoples, active social activities. Among them, Professor of the Department of Internal Diseases No. 2 of the West Kazakhstan Medical University named after Marat Ospanov Zholdin Bekbolat Kulzhanovich was awarded a remarkable award – the Order of Parasat.

Professor B.K. Zholdin is a member of the Presidium of the Association of Therapists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian and European Society of Cardiologists, the Society of Specialists in Heart Failure, Director of the Aktobe branch of the Association of Cardiologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chief freelance clinical pharmacologist of AOUZ.

Professor Zholdin B.K. has trained a whole group of students: 97 clinical residents, 3 graduate students, 2 doctoral students, 2 undergraduates who work in various parts of our Republic and in countries near and far abroad.

He was awarded the badge “Kazakhstan Republikasy densaulyk aktau isinin uzdigine” (2000), the badge “Y. Altynsarin” for significant achievements in the education and upbringing of the younger generation (2007); winner of the competition in the nomination “Daryndy Ustaz” of the Academy (2007); in the nomination “Uzdik dariger” was awarded the akim’s award “Shapagat”, is the owner of the sign “Ak Zhurek”, “Cardiology salasyn kayratkeri” of the Association of Cardiologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2012), awarded the medal “Veteran of Labor” (2019). Winner of the “Best Teacher” competition (2023).

Bekbolat Kulzhanovich made a huge contribution to the study of chronopharmacodynamics of antianginal drugs, epidemiology of chronic non-communicable diseases, chronic heart failure, directly participated in studies conducted under the auspices of WHO, EOC: STEPS, EUROASPIRE V, HF-III (heart failure). The results of his scientific research are reflected in 258 published works, including 5 teaching aids, 3 rational proposals, more than 18 publications devoted to improving the educational process. The results of scientific research are presented in peer-reviewed publications (LANCET, NATURE). In 1999, B.K. Zholdin was awarded the academic title of associate professor, in 2007 – professor. Of course, Bekbolat Kulzhanovich was always supported by his family in all his endeavors: wife, children, grandchildren!
