The SCOME Standing Committee held the event “Accreditation and Quality Assurance”. The main purpose of this event is to understand for what purpose the accreditation of educational programs is carried out at the university and what is the role and participation of students in the process of self-assessment and accreditation.

The event was held with the participation of senior lecturer of the Department of Medical and Biological Chemistry Nurzhiyan Ermukhanbetova, who has extensive experience in organizing and conducting institutional and specialized accreditation of educational programs.

At the event, students got acquainted with the standards and guidelines for international accreditation of basic medical and pharmaceutical education programs, and also received answers to all their questions.
