Aiganym took the first place

The annual congress with international participation “Heart Failure 2023” was held in Moscow. The Congress presented the latest developments in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of heart failure, as well as highlighted issues related to the development of heart failure in patients with comorbid pathology, in particular in oncological diseases, lung and kidney diseases.

A traditional competition of young scientists was held within the framework of the congress. It should be noted that reaching the finals of the competition is already an achievement, since the competition of young scientists was held in three stages: stages 1 and 2 — correspondence and stage 3 — full-time at the congress. 6 young scientists with their scientific reports reached the final of the competition, 3 from St. Petersburg, 1 from Kazan, 1 from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, 1 from Kazakhstan (Aktobe).

The jury of the competition included the most authoritative experts on heart failure, MD, Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Yu.Belenkov (Moscow), Ph.D. Y.Begrambekova (Moscow), Ph.D. N.Novitsky (Kaluga).

Aiganym Amanova, a doctoral student of the 1st year of study in the group of the educational program D141 “Medicine”, Department of Internal Diseases No. 2, presented data on the work “Predicting the development of early left ventricular myocardial dysfunction in the treatment of anthracyclines in patients with breast cancer: development and evaluation of a diagnostic nomogram”.

The scientific work was carried out with the support of grant funding from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (IRN AP09259524).

According to the results of the competition, Amanova Aiganym took 1st place. The experts of the competition highly appreciated the potential of scientific work that meets international standards.
