Specific immunoprophylaxis in children

The head of the Department of General Medical Practice No. 1, A.Seipenova, together with the head of the Department of Epidemiology, S. Urazaeva, conducted an integrated lecture on the topic “Specific immunoprophylaxis among children” for 5th year students of the Kazakh department of the specialty “General Medicine”. The lecture was devoted to an urgent problem of medicine – specific prevention of infectious diseases.

The lecture highlights the issues of the National Vaccination Calendar of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the legal framework and orders for immunoprophylaxis, contraindications to vaccinations and post-vaccination monitoring at the site.

During the lecture, short videos were used about the work of the vaccination room, vaccination techniques and the WHO measles prevention program. A survey was conducted using Google Forms to determine the level of mastering the lecture.
