On the eve of Gratitude Day, the Department of Medical and Biological Chemistry organized a solemn event “Giving thanks is our duty”, dedicated to the department’s veteran teachers, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Professor S.N. Dilmagambetov and senior lecturer A.E. Baymanova, who made a huge contribution to the preparation of future specialists, in the development of the medical field.

The event was attended by the head of the Aktobe regional branch of the NJSC “Foundation of Social Medicine” Urazbagambetov A.U., teacher of the department of normal and anatomy and operative surgery Urtanbaev M.T., head of the department of internal diseases-1 Bazargaliev E. Sh., dean of the faculty of general medicine Abilov T.S., Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Pharmacy, Public Health Zhailybaev M.S., who at different times studied with honorary teachers, were students, heads of their first supervised groups and continued their teaching activities.

The festive evening was started by the head of the department, GumarovaZh. Zh., who dwelled on the work and creative path of wise mentors, emphasizing that their efforts do not go unnoticed and it is our duty to thank them for their good deeds aimed at quality education and upbringing. A meaningful video “The work of a teacher is an example to follow” was presented about the achievements of veterans in research and teaching activities.

The festive program continued with memories and dialogue between veterans and students and guests.

The Gosi of the evening congratulated and expressed words of gratitude and appreciation for their invaluable many years of work and high professionalism.

At the end of the evening a festive concert was organized. This kind of attention from staff and students symbolizes the care and respect for our veterans who have worked tirelessly for the benefit of the university.
