We talked about the basics of medical law

A cycle of advanced training in the basics of medical law was conducted on the basis of JSC “National Center of Neurosurgery”. The event was organized by the NGO “Association of Independent Medical Experts of Astana city”.

 

Lectures for neurosurgeons of the Center, as well as heads and practicing neurosurgeons of other institutions in the regions of Kazakhstan were delivered by the head of the Institute for the Study of Medical Law Problems at the M.Ospanov State Medical University T.Zhumagazin, head of the NGO “International bureau”, PhD G.Narbayeva, independent medical expert, manager of health protection of the highest category Sh.Mukanova.

The opening of the seminar was attended by Chairman of the Board of JSC “National Center of Neurosurgery” Serik Akshulakov.

During the lectures, the issues of conducting an independent examination of the quality of medical care, ways and means of legal protection of medical and pharmaceutical workers, mediation conflict resolution, types of legal liability of medical and pharmaceutical workers, the concepts of “Medical error” and “Medical secrecy” were raised.
