Meeting with the poet

Members of the club of young poets and masters of public speaking “Zhas Kalam” met with poet Aibek Kalmaganbetov. The purpose of the evening is to introduce young poets to the life and work of the guest who contributed to Kazakh literature. Along with the students, the poet’s family and friends attended the meeting.

During the event, Aybek Kenesaryuly shared interesting memories of his life and work. The members of the club performed, read the poet’s poems, and asked questions about his work. In turn, the creative teams of our educational institution sang songs, lifting the mood of those present. The guests, delighted with the performances of the youth, gave their ovations.

Lyrical poems of the poet on socio-political, lyrical themes have been published as a collection. He is the author of such books as “The Abode of Happiness”, “Monument to the father”, “Ken Zhyloy”.

At the end of the evening, the head of the Youth Affairs Service, Meiramgul Zhumagalieva, presented a letter of thanks and gifts to the poet on behalf of the rector of the university, Asset Kaliev.

— I am especially pleased that in an educational institution with a deeply rooted history, doctors are trained as intermediaries of the human soul, who have high hopes for the future. I express my great gratitude to the youth who accompany the art of reading and poetry. I wish you creative success!” said Aybek Kenesaryuly.

At the meeting with the poet, poetry fans got into the poems of the guest of the evening and shared their impressions.
