Seminar on the basics of medical law

In Karaganda on the basis of the Multidisciplinary hospital named after H.Makazhanov held a training seminar for medical and pharmaceutical workers on the basics of medical law. The seminar was attended by the heads and employees of this medical organization.

T.Zhumagazin, head of the Institute for the Study of Problems of Medical Law at the Ospanov State Medical University, was invited as a lecturer. The 3-hour lesson was conducted using presentations, case studies, references to legislative acts, questions and answers, and consideration of problematic legal situations on specified topics. Namely, methods and means of legal protection of medical and pharmaceutical workers, protection in cases of medical error, protection of honor, dignity and business reputation, liability insurance, reasonable risk, protection in criminal proceedings, protection from other offenses, types of legal liability of medical and pharmaceutical workers, medical error, medical secrecy.
