The family doctor’s office is a reality!

A significant event took place — the opening of the Center for Best Practices at the Family Medicine Clinic. At the same time, a unique event took place — the opening of the Family Doctor’s Office. The opening of a Family Doctor’s Office in the Center of Best Practices is one of the strategies of our university to improve the quality of medical education, develop a practice-oriented approach, and improve the quality of primary care to the population.

The uniqueness of the Family Doctor’s Office in the Center of Best Practices lies in the focus on developing the competencies of employees, interns, residents of family medicine, conducting scientific research and introducing new methods into the practice of primary health care.

In addition, professional orientation towards family medicine among students; support for family doctors and general practitioners through advisory and educational trajectories of continuing medical education programs in the workplace; development of innovative approaches to the organization and provision of medical services, etc.

The Family Doctor’s office has two offices, where in one of them, the intern / resident conducts the patient’s reception, under the guidance of a teacher, and the video recording goes to the study room, and at the end of the reception, debriefing is conducted with discussion and analysis of mistakes made, so, all trainees participate in turn.

The University is interested in improving the quality of medical education based on international methods and standards and the subsequent provision of high-quality medical care by our graduates to the population.
