The first medical exhibition in the museum

The Aktobe Regional Museum of Local Lore hosted a festive event “Night at the Museum-2024” dedicated to May 18 — International Museum Day.

At the annual traditional event, the exhibition “The values of medicine in the Aktobe region” was presented to the attention of citizens, made up of medical materials from the Departments of Histology, Normal and topographic Anatomy, operative surgery, pathological anatomy and Forensic Medicine and the Center for Practical Skills.

At the grand opening, the director of the museum, Meiram Duisengali, noted that this was the first medical exhibition ever organized in the history of the museum and presented Letters of Thanks and gifts to the Rector of the University, Asset Kaliev, Vice-rector for Educational Work Nurgul Abenova and the Department of Histology, Normal and Topographic Anatomy, Operative Surgery, pathological Anatomy and Forensic Medicine expertise, the Center for Practical Skills, whose materials were presented at the exhibition, as well as a number of students who participated in the exhibition.

In turn, Vice-rector for Educational Work Nurgul Abenova congratulated the museum staff on their professional holiday and wished them creative success.

— This year, the traditional event coincided with the celebration of the 155th anniversary of the city of Aktobe and the 95th anniversary of the museum with the history of the region. Of course, we know that such an image event is of great importance for establishing bilateral cooperation relations. I am sure that our relationship will continue to strengthen in the future,” she said.

The exhibition, which aroused great interest, was held at a high level.
