The debate conference

To encourage critical thinking, promote cultural exchange and draw attention to English language programs in Kazakhstan, the U.S. Mission and the Fulbright Association of Kazakhstan held a debate conference at Nazarbayev University in Astana on May 23-25, 2024, which was attended by students from 38 Kazakhstani universities currently studying with American exchange participants.

For the first time, our students Zeynulayeva Alina group 141 Faculty of Medicine and Rysmagambetov Dastan group 142 Faculty of Medicine took part in this event together with Fulbright program participant Stephanie Murphy and teacher of the Department of Languages Zhilisbayeva Kulyash Rakhmetullayevna.

The students performed at a good level and worthily presented the honor of the Marat Ospanov WKMU and received certificates of participation from US Ambassador Daniel Rosenblum.
