The doctoral student of the university took part in the Moscow international congress
The XXVI International MAKMAH Congress was held in Moscow. The 3rd year doctoral student Nurgul Ablakimova participated in this event. The topic of her dissertation is devoted to antimicrobial resistance of pathogens of pneumonia. At the congress, she presented preliminary data on the microbiological landscape of community-acquired pneumonia pathogens in Aktobe.
Scientific supervisors of Nurgul are university professors G.Smagulov and A.Musina. And foreign scientific consultant S.Rachina from I.Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University. Participation in this congress allowed Nurgul Ablakimova not only to present her scientific results, but also to exchange experiences with leading experts in the field of antimicrobial therapy and clinical microbiology, which will be an important contribution to her future scientific activities.

The International Congress discussed topical issues such as modern approaches to the detection of antibiotic resistance and its mechanisms, a review of modern clinical recommendations and standards of medical care for infectious diseases, the dynamics of the spread of antibiotic-resistant pathogens in Russia and in the world, prospects for antimicrobial therapy, pharmacoeconomics of infectious diseases, rational choice of antibiotics for community-acquired infections and infections associated with the provision of medical care.
