The competition “The best graduate cardiologist-2024”

At the Department of Internal Diseases No. 2, a competition “The best graduate cardiologist-2024” was held among resident cardiologists of the 3rd year of study. The competition was organized by the curator of residents, professor of the department Saule Seitmagambetova. Holding such competitions at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 2 has been a good tradition for many years and is held at the end of the academic year among graduates. This year, 11 resident cardiologists took part in the competition. The competition consisted of three stages.

Stage 1 — solving situational problems, stage 2 — interpretation of electrocardiograms, stage 3 — practical skill -basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation. To assess the knowledge and practical skills of the residents, a jury of four teachers of the department was selected — Associate Professor K.Tokbayeva, assistants G.Sultanbekova and L.Aralbayeva. The head of the department, Associate Professor Gulnara Kurmanalina, was elected Chairman of the jury. For an objective assessment, the jury members were provided with checklists. Each member of the jury evaluated the knowledge and skills of the graduates on a 100-point scale.

According to the results of the competition, residentAselIdeyatovabecame the winner, residentDinaraAbilovatook the secondplace, Asel Artykbayeva took the third place By voting among those present, Akbota Asankyzy received the audienceaward.

All participants of the competition were awarded with certificates and memorable gifts.
