Master class for neonatology and pediatrics
A master class on “Critical situations in neonatology and pediatrics” is being held at the university’s simulation center on the basis of a multidisciplinary regional children’s hospital with the participation of Anatoly Verevkin, a Russian expert on simulation training in medicine, an anesthesiologist and intensive care specialist of the highest category.
The purpose of the event is to work out scenarios for providing emergency medical care in a critical situation with a demonstration of skills on high—tech robots Pedisim, Bebisim, “Krokha Pavlik”.
During the event, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, Science and International Cooperation Gulmira Zhurabekova expressed gratitude to Anatoly Verevkin, who had specially arrived from Moscow, noting the importance of the master class for neonatologists and pediatricians.
As part of the lesson, practical workshops with the use of high-tech robots, video broadcasting, team training and debriefing were organized for university faculty, neonatologists and pediatricians.
The event is scheduled for three days.
