From September 9 to 13, lectures by professors of the Karol Marcinkowski Poznan University of Medical Sciences PhD, Professor Tobis Slawomir Aleksander and MD, PhD Katarzyna Wieczorowska-Tobis are held at the Department of Public Health and Public Health within the framework of the Visiting Professor program. Professor Slawomir Tobis is a researcher and lecturer at the Department of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences. Professor Katarzyna Wieczorowska-Tobis is a researcher, geriatrician, head of the Center for Palliative Medicine at the Karol Marcinkowski Poznan University of Medical Sciences.
The Department of Public Health and Public Health has been cooperating with professors of the University of Poznan since 2018. As part of the collaboration, there are common articles in the Scopus database within the framework of common scientific and technical projects. Lectures by professors Tobis Slawomir Aleksander and Katarzyna Wieczorowska-Tobis are held under the title “Modern problems of gerontology and geriatric care”.
Senior students of the educational programs “Public Health”, “Dentistry”, “IT medicine”, undergraduates, doctoral students of the educational programs “Public Health”, “Nursing”, as well as teachers of the department actively participate in the lectures of professors.
Professor Katarzyna Wieczorowska-Tobis is a foreign scientific consultant to doctoral student K.Kimatova and she provides consultations on preparing for the defense of her doctoral dissertation.
In addition, professors Tobis Slawomir Aleksander and Katarzyna Wieczorowska-Tobis plan to conduct a master class for nurses of medical organizations of the Aktobe region with the issuance of a certificate.
