This year, 1,243 students enrolled at our university

The 1st year students of our university gathered in the Akkagaz Doszhanova Conference Hall. At the meeting, the newly arrived students were explained the internal discipline of the educational institution and provided with information about the rights and obligations of students.

The meeting, which was led by Vice-rector for Educational Work Nurgul Abenova, was attended by representatives of law enforcement agencies, they talked about legislative requirements and security issues. The students were given detailed information about the rules of conduct and organization of the educational process at the university and security measures. The guards provided legal advice to the students and answered their questions.

The meeting will promote students’ understanding of legal and disciplinary norms in the educational environment and facilitate their adaptation to university life.

It should be noted that this year 1,243 students crossed the threshold of the university. 392 1st year students are enrolled on grants from state and local executive bodies. That is, 386 students chose the specialty “Medicine”, 181 students chose the specialty “Pediatrics”, 137 students chose the specialty “Dentistry”. The specialty “Nursing” has also been widely recognized. That is, 335 students study here. 44 students also enrolled in the specialty “Pharmacy”, 30 in the specialty “Public Health” and 36 in the specialty “Medical and preventive medicine”.
