Derek Wanhao Ren has arrived at the university under the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) program. In the new academic year, he will work as an assistant English teacher for university staff and students.

The Fulbright ETA program is one of the most prestigious academic exchange programs in the world. Within its framework, cooperation between scientists from Kazakhstan and the United States is carried out on a bilateral basis. The program provides scholarship holders with the opportunity to work for a full academic year in regional higher education institutions. At our university, this program helps teachers of language departments to improve their professional competence, and students to improve their English language skills.
