Insurance of professional liability of medical workers

In accordance with the action plan of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in order to inform about changes in the legislation of the healthcare system in Mangystau Regional Hospital, the head of the Institute for the Study of Medical Law Problems Talgat Zhumagazin conducted training on issues of professional liability insurance for medical workers, the activities of an independent expert commission to establish the presence (absence) of the fact of harm to the life and health of patients in as a result of the implementation of medical activities.

It was attended by representatives of medical organizations in Aktau and Mangystau region, employees of the patient support and internal audit service, specialized specialists, independent experts, employees of personnel, legal and economic departments, representatives of specialized associations, trade unions and others.
