Marat Ospanov: teacher, politician, scientist

In honor of the birthday of the famous public figure Marat Ospanov, a special event was held at the Medical University of Astana. It was organized by the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities of our University. The faculty and students of the capital University took part in it.

The educational event began with the documentary “The Code of the Heart of Marat Ospanov”. The head of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, B.Omarova, made a welcoming speech, who analyzed the scientific works of M.Ospanov and shared her thoughts. Professor of the Department of Microbiology B.Urekeshov and senior lecturer K.Shakirt stressed that M.Ospanov is a man of our time, that he was a democratic citizen who highly valued the interests of the people and gave open interviews to journalists, especially in difficult times.

The moderator of the evening, B.Moldin, who attends Astana Medical University with an academic mobility program, noted that the names of personalities like Ospanov, who worked for the country, will never be forgotten, and on October 18 this year, an international scientific conference and a republican student essay contest dedicated to the scientist will be held within the walls of our educational institution.
