Integrated lesson

Department of Languages hosted practical work for students of group 104 of the Faculty of Pediatrics on the topics “Cultural leisure: theaters, museums, festivals, exhibitions, concerts, literature and music. Adverbs of place and time, mode of action. Temporal and causal relationships in the sentence” and “Multimedia technologies”. The classes were organized by the senior lecturer of the Department of Languages G.Aldasheva and the senior lecturer of the Department of Languages D.Esmukanova.

The lesson examined the influence of adverbs on communication and more accurate transmission of information, and also considered how multimedia technologies can be used to visualize these concepts. Students participated in discussions and completed practical tasks.

Interactive exercises using the LearningApps service were created to check the material passed. Google Forms cloud technologies were used to assess the initial and final level of students’ knowledge.  The integrated NearPod program has also been successfully implemented. The Ideaboardz platform allowed students to jointly develop ideas and discuss topics in an interactive format.

The head of the Academic quality Department N.Rysmagambetova and the teachers of the department took part in the lesson and shared their opinions about the lesson.
