Visit of the Professor of Russia

Olga Bashkina, Head of the Department of Pediatrics of the Faculty of Astrakhan State Medical Institute, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, visited the Department of Pediatric Diseases No. 1 with Neonatology within the framework of the Visiting Professor program.

During the visit, Professor Olga Bashkina conducted a series of lectures and master classes for 4th-year students of the Faculty of General Medicine, 1-2-year residents of the specialty «Neonatology» and «Allergology», as well as other doctors, in which the main attention was paid to current trends in medical practice. As well as issues of medical education in a rapidly changing medical environment.

The professor’s visit was an important step in strengthening academic cooperation between the two universities, facilitating the exchange of experience and expanding the horizons of scientific and educational research.
