Professor’s lecture
At the Department of Histology, as part of the Visiting Professor program, Reza Shirazi, a professor at the University of Sydney (Australia, New South Wales), conducted thematic online lectures.
During the program, topics such as the use of modern technologies in general anatomy, histology and embryology, cell therapy, quantitative research and writing scientific articles, as well as the latest achievements in these fields were highlighted. Professor Shirazi not only presented the material necessary to study the key patterns of developmental processes at the cellular level and the reactivity of organs and tissues, but also adapted the content of the lectures in accordance with the requests of the audience.
Special attention was paid to the logical relationship between knowledge about the development, structure and functions of cells, tissues and organs. The topic of publishing scientific articles aroused the keen interest of the audience and became the subject of active discussion in a dialogue format, which emphasized its importance for teachers.
