Work of the dissertation council

On July 02, 2020, the regular meeting of the Dissertation Council of the Marat Ospanov ZKMU was held.

In connection with the epidemiological situation of coronavirus infection given the meeting was held in the online mode. The meeting was attended by specialists in various fields, scientists from Russia, Italy, Poland, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.

Tlegenova Zh. Sh. studied the prevalence of atrial fibrillation and risk factors associated with development and progression of atrial fibrillation in hypertensive patients in primary care setting. Supervisor – Zholdin B.K. – Professor of the Department of Internal Diseases 2 ZKMU, Scientific Advisor – Abdrakhmanov A.S.- Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Interventional Arrhythmology, National Research Centre for Cardiac Surgery, President of Kazakh Society of Arrhythmology, Nur-Sultan, Republic of Kazakhstan, foreign scientific advisor – Gulmira Kudaiberdieva, MD, Doctor of Medical Sciences, FESC, Professor, Director of the Center scientific research and education, editor-in-chief of the journal “Heart, Vessels and Transplantation”, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Adana, Turkey.

Kurmanalina M.A. worked on the prevalence of chronic apical periodontitis in Aktobe, as well as the clinical and radiological justification for the use of biphasic calcium phosphate biomaterial in the treatment of chronic apical periodontitis. Tuleuova R.Sh. conducted studies on the effect of consumption of sources of polyunsaturated fatty acids on the development of cardiovascular diseases in the Kazakh population. Scientific advisers: Zhamalieva L.M. – MD, Head of Family Medicine and Primary Care Researches Center; Grzhibovsky A.M. – Doctor of Medicine, Head of the Central Scientific Research Laboratory of the Federal State Budget Educational Institution of Higher Medical Education (Arkhangelsk, Russia) of the Ministry of Health of Russia. Professor of Northeastern Federal University (Yakutsk).

Scientific research of dissertants aroused great interest among the members of the Dissertation Council and active discussion. We wish further creative work to young scientists and their scientific supervisors.
