«Echo of Victory. World without war»

There are events significance of which does not fade from the inexorable passage of time and which are not erased from people’s memory. Memories of them are carefully preserved and passed down from generation to generation, they survive for centuries. Memory is the link between the past and the future!

VICTORY DAY is not just a holiday, it is one of the greatest days. This date will never be erased from history, it will always remind you of those terrible events. It is very important for the younger generation never to forget those who gave their lives for our peaceful sky.

On the eve of the celebration of the 77th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic war on the basis of Karaganda Technical University the department of Russian language and culture organized and held a Republican video contest “Echo of Victory. World without war».

The purpose of the competition is to foster a sense of patriotism, memory of the past of their people, love for their homeland; to attract attention to in—depth study of the history of their native land, family history, perpetuating the memory of the fallen defenders.

 Students from 5 higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan: Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory (Almaty), Astana International University (Nur-Sultan), Karaganda Technical University named after Abilkasy Saginov (Karaganda), Medical University of Karaganda (Karaganda), West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov Medical University (Aktobe) took part in the competition.

Worthy participation of our students in the competition should be noted.

The 1st year students of group 114 of the Faculty of General Medicine Yerbolat Moldir and Bisenbayeva Ainur (supervisor – Aldasheva G.B.) won the 1-st place in the individual nomination in the state language with the video “Her name was Liya”.

A 2nd year student of group 204 of the Faculty of Dentistry Amirzhanov Islam (supervisor Abdirgaziyeva A.B.) with the video “On the waves of grandfather’s life” won the 1-st place in the individual nomination in Russian.
