“Young researcher: challenges and prospects for the development of modern pediatrics and pediatric surgery”
On Almaty hosted the annual International Scientific and Practical Conference of Doctoral Students, Residents and Young Doctors “Young Researcher: Challenges and Prospects for the Development of Modern Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery” dedicated to the memory of a pediatric surgeon with “golden hands”, head of the Department of Surgery of the Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery, doctor of medical sciences, scientist with an international name, honorary professor of Cincinnati Clinic USA, academician of the European Academy of Natural Sciences Akhparov Nurlan Nurkinovich.
The head of the Scientific Center for Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery Riza Boranbayeva, the rector of KazNMU named after A.I. S. Asfendiyarova Talgat Nurgozhin, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Nurlan Aryn. They wished the young scientists, who connected their lives with science, new heights. They also noted the importance of the event and shared their memories of Nurlan Nurkinovich.
The format of this conference was hydride (online + offline), young researchers from Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Moldova took part in it.
On behalf of our university, residents of the Department of Pediatric Surgery made presentations:
1. Tolegenova A.Zh. – Resident pediatric surgeon of the 2nd year of study with a report on the topic “The use of propranolol in the treatment of infantile hemangiomas”.
2.Izimbet K.N. – Resident of the 1st year of study “Acute scrotum syndrome in children”
3. Selbay A.B. – resident of the 3rd year of study “Diagnosis and treatment of foreign bodies of the respiratory tract in children”
The conference program was rich and varied. During several sessions, 51 audio presentations, 15 poster presentations were heard. Conference materials are published in a separate collection of articles. All participants received certificates for participation in the conference.
The conference was attended by leading pediatric surgeons from different regions of the country, as well as scientists and teachers from leading medical universities, who actively participated in discussions on each presentation, made their comments to young researchers and gave them their parting words.
