Seminar-lesson on the residency program in the specialty Forensic medical examination

Within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation concluded between the Department of Normal and Topographic Anatomy of the Marat Ospanov ZKMU and the Alliance of Independent Forensic Expertise and Specialized Research, the head of the Alliance Akbarova Rosa Amangeldievna among the 1st-year residents of the specialty “Forensic medical examination” (M. Otesen, K. Mambetov, G. Smagulov and H. Eskali) in the period 27.06.2022-30.06.2022 held a seminar-lesson in an online format.

The seminar was also attended by the head of the Department of Normal and Topographic Anatomy with Operative Surgery S.B. Rakhmanov, Deputy Director for Medical Affairs of the Aktobe Interregional Center for Forensic Examinations B.B. Sagindykov and mentors on the residency program.

Lesson plan:

1. Possibilities of forensic examination in civil, administrative and criminal proceedings;
2. Professional and psychological training of a forensic expert;
3. Features of appointment and production of forensic examinations by non-state (private) experts in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The workshop lasted for three days, where the issues of forensic examination and the legal basis for their solution were discussed. At the end of the seminar, residents and participants were awarded certificates.
