Doctor-bacteriologists were invited

On 19 January 2023, an event dedicated to the Day of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology was held in the library of the WK Marat Ospanov MU. At the department’s day, bacteriologists working in the laboratory of LP «Microlabservis» were invited to attend.

The event was organised by the faculty members of the department together with the library staff.

Associate Professors of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology Urekeshov B.S. gave a presentation on the topic: “The role and place of microbiology in the practical work of a doctor”, as well as Azhmuratova M.A. made a presentation on the topic: “ Микробиология кафедрасының жұмыстарын ұйымдастыру”, which were listened to with interest. The event was followed by a roundtable discussion on current issues and problems in their work. Also in the course of the conversation, the bacteriologists expressed a wish for the resumption of the work of the “Society of Microbiologists” and for strengthening cooperation between the department and practitioners working in the SES and other laboratories.

The participants of the event dedicated to the Department’s Day were introduced to the exhibition of book novelties on microbiology and immunology.
