It is worth noting that over the past decades, the medical practice of most developed countries has firmly established “treatment protocols” or “clinical guidelines” designed to help the practitioner to prescribe the correct treatment.
This primarily concerns the countries of Europe and North America. Today, more effective methods of treatment are being developed, the newest drugs are being patented, and more modern equipment is being mass-produced. In this regard, medical practitioners need to improve the quality of treatment methods and update knowledge.
In her opening remarks, Professor Kanshaym Sakieva spoke about the fact that the use of any innovations requires certain qualifications.
-Clinical protocol is a systematically developed normative document designed to help the practitioner to prescribe treatment, and the patient to control the actions of the doctor. In short, a clinical protocol is a serious document that must be developed and revised. In practice, the main mission of clinical guidelines is to improve the quality of medical care, she noted.
Also, the speakers of the conference made presentations on the topics: “Depression at the level of primary care”, “Neotalny jaundice”, “Palliative care for cancer patients at the primary care” and “The need for screening ultrasound in the third trimester during physiological pregnancy.” help.
By the way, the director of the branch of the Association of Family Physicians of Kazakhstan in the Aktobe region, associate professor of the center of family medicine and research in primary care at the Marat Ospanov ZKMU, Tatyana Otstretsova, conducted a brief comparative analysis of the provision of palliative care in the Republics of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
