Cooperation with the Caspian University

The head of the Department of Psychology, Candidate of Medical Sciences Alua Miraleyeva within the framework of the academic mobility program, delivered a course of lectures at the Public Caspian University, Almaty.

So, lectures on the topics “Empathy”, “Emotional intelligence”, “Stress”, “Stress tolerance and stress management” were given for students of 1-3 courses of the specialty “Clinical Psychology” of the Higher School of Humanities. Lectures on “Art listening”, “Basic skills of the patient-centered counseling” and “Breaking bad news” were given for international students of the University’s medical school. The students liked how the topics of the lectures were covered, asked a lot of questions, noted that the knowledge gained would be very useful for future work.

In addition to lectures, A. Miraleyeva met with the teachers of the Psychology program, the head of the Higher School of Humanities and the Vice-Rector for Academic Development of the Caspian University. Our colleagues were interested in working with K. Zhubanov University on the joint educational program “Clinical Psychology”, as well as scientific work at the Department of Psychology of the West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov Medical University, in particular in scientific and technical projects of the Ministry of High Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Thanks to the Memorandum concluded between our universities, cooperation will continue.
