Vacant position: head of the department of hygienic disciplines with professional diseases ​​of the NJSC “West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov Medical University”

 Basic requirements for the participant of the competition:

  1. Higher professional education, a scientific degree / PhD degree, work experience of at least 3 years of scientific and pedagogical activity, scientific publications on the profile of the department in publications recommended by the authorized body and in international peer-reviewed scientific journals. It is desirable to have a certificate of proficiency in English.
  2. For clinical departments, a specialist certificate / admission to clinical activity in the taught discipline is required, the highest or first medical category in the profile of the taught discipline.
  3. For the head of the Department of Physical Culture, persons are allowed who do not have an academic degree (candidate of science, doctor of science) or a degree of doctor of philosophy (PhD), but awarded the honorary title of the Republic of Kazakhstan, provided for by the Law or the title “Honored trainer of the RepublicKazakhstan”.

Functional responsibilities:

  1. Directly supervises, organizes and supervises educational-methodical, educational and scientific work at the department (for clinical departments, he also supervises clinical work).
  2. Plans the current and future work of the department in accordance with the state educational standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the approved plans of the university. Ensures the implementation of educational, scientific and other work plans of the department, key indicators.
  3. Develops a strategy for the development of the department in areas and specialties of training.
  4. Develops within the department quality system for training specialists.Provides mentoring and on boarding for newly hired employees.
  5. Determines pedagogical methods and means of teaching in order to ensure the high quality of the educational process.Organizes all types of training sessions for all forms of education of the department.
  6. Conducts department meetings to discuss planned and current issues of educational, methodological, scientific, clinical (for clinical departments) and educational work.
  7. Provides the development of syllabuses and control and measuring materials for the disciplines of the department.
  8. Approves the work plans of the department.Carries out the distribution of the teaching load and functional responsibilities between the employees of the department and monitors the timeliness and quality of their performance.
  9. Takes measures and creates conditions for combating corruption within the limits of his authority.Provides anti-corruption measures at the department.
  10. Supervises the implementation by students and employees of the department of labor protection rules and fire safety techniques.
  11. Controls compliance with the approved schedule of training sessions of the teaching staff of the department. Does not allow classes to be disrupted for disrespectful reasons, takes the necessary measures to replace them or replace (postpone) classes in the absence of a teacher.
  12. Systematically monitors the quality of teaching academic disciplines of the teaching staff of the department. Organizes mutual visit of classes and exchange of advanced teaching methods.
  13. Provides an annual increase in the level of knowledge of the English language of the teaching staff of the department with the provision of certificates.

7) copies of the certificate of the medical category in the profile of the disciplines of the department, if available (for clinical departments);

8) list of scientific works and inventions, if any (for employees of the University, the list of scientific works is certified by the academic secretary)

9) certificate from neuropsychiatric organization in the form, in accordance with the standard of the state service “Issuance of a certificate from a neuropsychiatric organization” approved by order of the Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 27, 2015 No. 272, issued no more than one year before the date of submission of documents (or a notarized copy);

10) certificate from narcological organization in the form, in accordance with the standard of the state service “Issuance of a certificate from narcological organization”, approved by order of the Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 27, 2015 No. 272, issued no more than one year before the date of submission of documents (or a notarized copy);

11) certificate on presence or absence of information on the records issued by the Committee for Legal Statistics and Special Records of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the person committing a criminal offense;

12) the participant of the competition has the right to submit additional information regarding his education, work experience, professional level, knowledge of languages ​​(list of scientific publications, recommendations from the management of the previous place of work, certificates, diplomas, etc.);

13) Persons working at the university apply characteristics of the higher management;

14) characteristics of the employee from the last place of work for candidates who are not full-time employees of the University;
