The goal is to prevent AIDS

An information hour “AIDS is a disease of the 21st century” was organized for students of the 151 AB groups of the International Medical Faculty by the teacher of the Languages Department Dauletova D.

 The purpose of the event is to summarize and consolidate students’ knowledge about the origin of the human immunodeficiency virus, the methods of its transmission, the course of the disease, methods of protection, and the development of an active life position to prevent behavioral risks associated with the possibility of HIV infection.

The students watched a video, the film introduced students to the history of World AIDS Day, and the history of the origin of the international symbol of the fight against AIDS – the “red ribbon”.

The event was accompanied by a presentation. All students took an active part in discussing the problem. Everyone was able to voice their views on the problem of AIDS. In conclusion, an interactive game was held; with the help of game elements, students learned to find a way out of difficult and dangerous situations.

The event was interesting, with great activity and interest from students.
