The championship of the city in ski racing

On the ski track of the winter sports school in the area of the village of Kirpichny, the city championship in cross-country skiing among residents of the city in the program of Presidential tests, dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the city of Aktobe, took place. The competition was attended by national teams of sports teams, schools, universities, colleges of our city, lovers of skiing.

The national team of the university, led by the coach, senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Education E.Dema, was represented by nine participants — Vice-rector for Strategic Development, Science and International Cooperation G.Zhurabekova, senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Education R.Kanapina and students-members of the University’s sports improvement group in skiing Nursultan Khamziev, 405 stom., Dias Savitov, 420A o/m, Ilya Derkach, 419A o/m, Dmitry Kurgan, 120 stom., Alina Nazarova, 419A o/m, Natalia Kolosova, 421A o/m, Violetta Knyazeva, 103 farm. The athletes of the older age groups conquered the two-kilometer distance, the young students overcame five kilometers, the girls started at a three-kilometer distance.

In the older age groups, showing an excellent example of sportsmanship and the will to win, Rosa Kanapina and Gulmira Zhurabekova won the individual competition, in the age category 18-23, student 421 A of the group of the Faculty of General Medicine Natalia Kolosova won 2nd place.
