The “Magnet of desires” training for students
Since the new academic year, the Department of Psychology has been holding a number of events on the topic “Mental health and well-being of students”, dedicated to World Mental Health Day — October 10 and implementing the main ideas of the scientific project “Assessment of socio-psychological opportunities for intensive growth of well-being of students in Western Kazakhstan”.
So, under the guidance of associate professor of the Department of Psychology Maliika Knissarinа, activists of the student scientific circle “Psychogeny” Nurai Oralbekova and Aisha Aliturliyeva conducted trainings “Magnet of desires” with 1st year students of the specialties “Medicine” and “Pediatrics”.
The participants of the training created wish maps with visualization of their own goals and desires. By teaching prioritization, coaches focus on the fact that a sense of well-being arises when goals and dreams are aligned with internal values, provide balance in life.
