SECTOR OF PATENT INFORMATION, INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT AND TRANSFER OF HIGH TECHNOLOGIES

The main objectives of the patent sector:

* Оrganization and conduction of activities to ensure the patent purity of scientific researches, provision of methodological assistance to researchers;

* Сonsultation and practical assistance in the development of the conceived inventions, documentation presentation and submission to National Institute of Intellectual Property (NIIP);

* Рrotection of the rights and interests of the invention authors.

* Issuance of certificates for the conduct of the primary patent information search (task, report);

An application for the grant of a patent for an invention must contain the following documents:

1. an application for the grant of a patent of the Republic of Kazakhstan for an invention indicating the authors of the invention and the persons in whose name the patent is claimed, as well as their residence or location;

2. a description of the invention that discloses it with a completeness sufficient for the implementation of it by a specialist in the relevant field of knowledge;

3. a formula of the invention defining the subject of the invention and expressing its essence. The formula should be clear, accurate and based on the description;

4. drawings and other materials, if they are necessary for understanding the essence of the invention;

5. review;

6. power of attorney, in case of conducting records management through a representative;

7. a document confirming payment for receipt of the application;
