An open Day dedicated to health protection, healthy lifestyle formation and prevention of non-communicable diseases was held at the Family Medicine clinic.

General practitioner R.Zhienbayeva gave a lecture on the topic of “Prevention of influenza and infectious diseases”, including SARS. Explanatory work was carried out on the methods of transmission of infections, mainly by airborne droplets, and the importance of vaccination for prevention. Three types of flu vaccinations are considered, which are preventive in nature, as well as the use of antiviral drugs and compliance with the rules of personal and public hygiene.

The head of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Childhood Infections M.Kurmangazin explained that the spread of diseases is divided into two groups: enteral and parenteral. Epidemiologist D.Yesekenov spoke about the ways of infection, prevention and epidemiological situation of infectious diseases among residents of Aktobe.

At the end of the event, information materials were distributed.
