Dear teaching staff of the University!
We invite you to take part in the competition for intra-university funding for the implementation of scientific, educational and innovative projects at the NJSC «ZKMU named after Marat Ospanov».
Purpose of the competition:
Support and financing of projects aimed at developing scientific, educational and innovative activities at the university.
Conditions of participation:
- Participants in the competition can be teachers and university employees.
- Each project must include the training of PhD doctoral students.
- Projects must be in the following areas: biomedicine, life and health sciences, medical education, and the country’s intellectual potential.
To participate, you must submit an application, which includes:
- Abstract;
- Explanatory note;
- General concept of the project;
- Scientific novelty and significance of the project;
- Research methods and ethical issues;
- Research team and project management;
- Research environment;
- Justification of the requested funding;
- Project implementation plan;
- Expected results;
- Bibliography.
Necessary documents for participation in the competition: application in three languages, conclusion of the local commission on bioethics, information on the composition of the research group, agreement on contribution from the private partner, list of publications of the applicant for scientific supervision.
Maximum amount of financing for one project: up to 10 million tenge. per year.
The start of accepting applications is December 25, 2024.
The final deadline for submitting applications is February 7, 2025.

Selection process:
Applications will be assessed by an external expert commission, including representatives of scientific organizations.
The competition will be held in two stages:
- Technical expertise.
- Independent peer review, evaluation and awarding of grants.
