Raising a Healthy Generation in Aktobe within the Framework of SDG 3 “Good Health and Well-being”

From January 27 to 31, 2025, a series of training sessions on the topic “Social and Psychological Well-being of the Individual” was organized for 7th and 8th grade students of KGU “Secondary School-Lyceum №27” in the city of Aktobe by the faculty of the Department of Psychology of the West Kazakhstan Medical University named after Marat Ospanov.

The goal of these events was to promote the formation of a healthy lifestyle and strengthen the well-being of children, which aligns with one of the global goals proclaimed by the United Nations — SDG 3: “Good Health and Well-being.”

The organization and conduct of the training sessions saw active participation from members of the psychology club “Psychogeny”: Tolegen S., Ukubaeva N., Zhumurova A., and Tanerbergen Zh.

Under the leadership of the head of the Department of Psychology, Ph.D. A.I. Miralieva, Associate Professor of the Department, PhD, M.M. Knisarina and Lecturers M.P.P. Netalina G.K. and M.P.P. Kurkbasova G.S. were organised in a fun way successful training sessions on developing communication skills.

The principal of “Secondary School-Lyceum №27”, Gulzhan Minullayevna Hamzina, expressed gratitude to the representatives of Marat Ospanov West Kazakhstan Medical University for their contribution to the formation of a healthy younger generation, noting that the health of children is the greatest wealth of our nation, which must be protected and enhanced.
