Vacant position: Dean of Post-graduate education of NJSC “West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov Medical University”
Basic requirements for the participant of the competition:
Higher education, scientific degree and work experience in the education organization for at least 10 years; experience for the past 3-5 years as the head of the department or the head teacher of the department, or experience as a junior manager, scientific articles in publications with a non-zero impact factor
Functional responsibilities:
The dean must:
– Provide qualified management of the activities of subordinate structures.
-Provide the organization and control of the educational process for training personnel at the university in accordance with the current classifier of specialties of postgraduate education.
– Ensure proper admission to supervised educational programs at the expense of budgetary and extra-budgetary funds.
– Exercise control over the process of academic mobility of students in internship with domestic and foreign higher educational organizations, assignments to other educational and healthcare organizations of teaching staff and dean’s office staff.
– Conduct systematically correspondence with patronage departments, regional health departments (RHD) of regions, medical organizations, when it is necessary,
– Advise trainees, teaching staff and employees on a range of issues within his/her competence. Prepare reports on postgraduate educational programs;
– Submit to the Board, the Academic Council / Scientific Council of the University proposals for their development and improvement.

- CV with a photo of the candidate in the state / Russian language, if necessary in English;
- autobiography;
- copy of the identification document;
- copies of diplomas of higher education, and (or) academic or scientific degree, document on academic title and (originals for verification);
- copies of certificates of retraining and advanced training (if any) and (originals for verification);
- copies of the certificate of specialist / admission to clinical activity (for clinical departments);
- copies of the certificate of the medical category in the profile of the disciplines of the department, if available (for clinical departments);
- list of scientific works and inventions, if any (for employees of the University, the list of scientific works is certified by the academic secretary);
- certificate from neuropsychiatric organization in the form, in accordance with the standard of the state service “Issuance of a certificate from a neuropsychiatric organization” approved by order of the Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 27, 2015 No. 272, issued no more than one year before the date of submission of documents (or a notarized copy);
- certificate from narcological organization in the form, in accordance with the standard of the state service “Issuance of a certificate from narcological organization”, approved by order of the Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 27, 2015 No. 272, issued no more than one year before the date of submission of documents (or a notarized copy)
- certificate on presence or absence of information on the records issued by the Committee for Legal Statistics and Special Records of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the person committing a criminal offense.
- the participant of the competition has the right to submit additional information regarding his education, work experience, professional level, knowledge of languages (list of scientific publications, recommendations from the management of the previous place of work, certificates, diplomas, etc.);
- University employees apply characteristics of the head of the department.
- characteristics of the employee from the last place of work for candidates who are not full-time employees of the University;
- essay on the prospective development of the claimed unit for a person wishing to participate in the competition for filling the following vacant positions: head of the department, dean of the faculty and head of the scientific unit
- Folder with file sheets.
