The personal championship of the city of Aktobe on the winter Presidential All-around among students of higher schools, dedicated to 2020 volunteer year

On February 22, 2020, the championship of the city of Aktobe on the winter Presidential All-around among students of higher schools, dedicated to 2020 volunteer year was held.in the shooting range of the sports complex K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional State University and on the basis of sports school for winter sports in the area of ​​the “Kirpichny”.

The competition was attended by teams from two universities in Aktobe: West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov University and ARSU K.Zhubanov. The program of competitions is a rifle shooting from air gun, strength gymnastics (boys’ chinups, girls’ dip up), boys – ski race in the 3 and girls are in the 2 km. Each team consisted of six participants: three boys and three girls.

The combined team of our university was represented by students of the sports development group on skiing and the winter Presidential all-around.

The student 122, “General medicine”, Ganieva Ilvira in a hard fight with famous athletes from ARSU won the 2nd place and the Silver of the championship.

It is worth noting that despite the difficulties connected with the organization and conduct of training and exercises on ski training at the university for the first time in many years, a ski base with new equipment has been established and operates.

This helped the students to introduce a cross-country skiing, to promote winter sports, to conduct ski training classes not only in sports developing groups, but also in the framework of the curriculum. By the way, our skiers, despite the lack of basic training before entering the University, starting to engage in cross-country skiing in the University’s sections on cross-country skiing and WPA, are the most active participants representing sports teams at various sport competitions of city and regional scales, making a significant contribution to the development of mass skiing in our region.
